The Ivoryton Playhouse is celebrating 25 years of laughter and drama, new shingles and seats, and more and more music and romance and applause than ever before. This year marks the 25th year of Artistic Director, Jacqui Hubbard's involvement with The Ivoryton Playhouse. Beginning as a Board member in 1991, she became Board President and in 1999 she was hired as Artistic/Executive Director and oversees all aspects of this small, historic gem of a theatre.

Free Shakespeare (CFS) and Festival! Stratford are moving heaven and earth this year to bring a professional production of Shakespeare's most boisterous comedy to the public for free. A skillful, hilarious adaptation of William Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew will be performed on the grounds of the American Shakespeare Festival Theatre in Stratford from Wednesday, August 17 through Sunday, August 21 from 8 to 10 pm.

Happy Days features 21 songs, including the series' iconic theme song, by Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe award-winning songwriter Paul Williams, with orchestrator and arranger, John McDaniel.

Long Wharf Theatre travels back in time to the romance and fun of Montmartre in the late 1800s in its production of the musical My Paris, a imaginative retelling of the life of the artist Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, directed by Tony Award-winning director Kathleen Marshall, with music from the legendary French performer Charles Aznavour, and a book by Pulitzer Prize-winner Alfred Uhry, and with English lyrics and musical adaptations by Tony-winner Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years).

The duo received a Tony Award co-nomination for their role(s) as the conjoined twins, Daisy and Violet Hilton, in the original Broadway production of Side Show; separately, Alice and Emily have starred in numerous other Broadway shows including The Full Monty, Next To Normal, Billy Elliot, The Rocky Horror Show, and many more.
