Tony nominated, Nightlife Award Legend winner Karen Akers will join the cast of the final concert of the Town Hall Summer Broadway Festival on July 26th, ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN', directed and choreographed by Jeffry Denman (YANK!).

The Town Hall presents the Fourth Annual Summer Broadway Festival created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Presented on three consecutive Monday nights in July at 8PM are BROADWAY WINNERS: THE AWARD-WINNING MUSIC OF BROADWAY! on July 12th, BROADWAY'S RISING STARS on July 19th, and ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN' on July 26th. The evenings will feature music and dance coupled with witty insider tidbits, all performed by Broadway's finest. Tickets for BROADWAY WINNERS and ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN' are $50 and $40. Yale Rep's original musical, 'POP!' and Hartford Stage's production of Horton Foote's marathon 'The Orphans' Home Cycle' are big winners of the 20th annual Connecticut Critics Circle. Between them, Yale and Hartford took 11 awards out of a total of 19, with Yale pulling off a first-time feat of copping both outstanding play and musical.
