Photo Coverage: COLLECTED STORIES Opening Night Arrivals!

The Manhattan Theatre Club Broadway premiere of COLLECTED STORIES, by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies (Time Stands Still, Dinner with Friends), directed by Lynne Meadow (The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, The Loman Family Picnic) opened last night at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). BroadwayWorld was there to capture the starry arrivals!

Last night, Monday April 19, Second Stage Theatre hosted their annual spring gala in honor of Tony Kiser, a trustee and Co-Chairman of the theater for 29 years. Performers Kelli O'hara and Greg Naughton, Anthony Rapp, Alison Fraser, Pulitzer Prize Winner Tom Kitt, Derrick Baskin, Noah Racey and John Scherer, Becca Ayres, D'Atra Hicks, and Julie Foldesi paid tribute to Kiser in celebration. The evening additionally featured a cocktail reception and dinner. BroadwayWorld was there to capture the performers.

Gambatese, Earley et al. to Lead Goodspeed's ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, 4/16-6/27

Goodspeed Musicals, the only two time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, is fired up to announce the cast of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun. This wild west musical from the director who brought you Goodspeed's 1776 and Camelot will run from April 16 - June 27 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn.

Grammy Award-winner and platinum-selling recording artist Melissa Manchester joined the cast of The Town Hall's Broadway Musicals of 1948 on Monday, March 22. Continuing the 10th Anniversary celebration of The Town Hall's Broadway by the Year ® concert series, Manchester joined the cast of musical theater performers celebrating shows that graced Broadway stages in 1948, including Cole Porter's classic Kiss Me Kate and Frank Loesser's Where's Charley?. The show was hosted, created and written for The Town Hall by Scott Siegel.

This week, Broadway Musicals of 1927 kicked off the Town Hall's 10th Anniversary season of the critically acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series. Alexander Gemignani directed and starred in the show alongside Finian's Rainbow's Kate Baldwin and Christopher Fitzgerald, Melinda Sullivan, Kendrick Jones, Carole Bufford, Marc Kudisch (9 to 5), Chad Kimball (Memphis), and Quentin Earl Darrington, Bobby Steggert, Ron Bohmer, and Christiane Noll from Ragtime. Broadway Musicals of 1927 is created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Ross Patterson musical directed the event, beginning his tenth season as the musical director of Broadway by the Year®.

It's a highlight of every winter, a celebration of the best entertainment in New York's nightlife scene. Combining jazz, comedy and cabaret, the annual Nightlife Awards famously eschew acceptance speeches in favor of performances, becoming a sampler of numerous artforms and introducing new artists to fans of different genres. Last Monday, some of the most gifted entertainers in all of these different subsets of nightlife took to the Town Hall stage for the seventh annual Nightlife Awards, with winners both past and present (and some other assorted guests) making some amazing music.
