Bailey Hanks, the winner of MTV's 8-episode reality show 'Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods', will make her Broadway debut in Legally Blonde.

On Monday, June 2, 2008, MTV premiered the reality show 'Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods' to find a talented singer/actress/ dancer to take over for Broadway star and Tony Nominee Laura Bell Bundy.

Laura Bell Bundy (Elle Woods), Orfeh (the beautician Paulette), Kate Shindle (Elle's nemesis Vivienne), Nicolette Hart (Brooke Wyndham) and more cast members from Legally Blonde celebrated Dashing Diva's 'Elle of a Pedicure' & 'Legally Blonde Pedicure Party' with a 'Bend & Snap' contest for their fans yesterday, June 26th.

On Sunday, July 20th at 7PM Laura Bell Bundy will play her final performance as Elle Woods.

It was announced today that Nicolette Hart (Rent) and Kate Rockwell (NBC's 'Grease: You're The One That I Want) will join the cast of LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL in May. Ms. Hart will take over the role of Brooke Wyndham on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 and Ms. Rockwell will perform the role of Margot starting Wednesday, May 14, 2008.

Musicals Tonight!continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies with its next edition of At This Performance…™ to be held on Sunday, April 6th and Monday, April 7th at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway, (above the Promenade Theatre- Broadway at 76th Street), 3rd Floor at 8 PM.

The Metropolitan Room's April schedule includes new shows from the headliners Karen Mason, Marilyn Maye and Julie Wilson. Plus Jamie deRoy, Lennie Watts and Kim Nalley will be back for encores; Larry Gatlin will be joined by his brothers; and, the veteran performers Marcus Simeone, Sharon McNight, and Julie Reyburn will be stirring things up at The Metropolitan Room in their first engagements.

Monsters, a new musical, will be featured at an industry reading on Monday, February 18 as devlopment of the show continues. Book and lyrics are by Boston playwright Gail Phaneuf, and music and lyrics are by composer Ernie Lijoi of New Jersey. Featured in the reading cast are Cady Huffman, Ann Harada, Nicolette Hart, Kate Pazakis, Joy Franz and Carlos Encinias.

Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal have returned to the Nederlander Theatre reprising the roles in RENT that they originated on Broadway. On May 15th and 16th, acclaimed singer/songwriter and Broadway performer Larry Gatlin performed at the Metropolitan Room in an evening presented by Jamie deRoy & friends.

Will Chase will join Carlin Glynn, Cady Huffman, James Moye and Danny Rutigliano for a staged reading of the new musical, Pure Country.
