Adam Pascal has been out of RENT - The Broadway Tour and due to a herniated disc, he was unable to perform in the Detroit engagement. There's good news for Pascal fans in California though, he'll be back in the show on February 26 when the show plays the Pantages Theatre for a 2 week run through March 8.

Joining Pascal and Rapp who reprise their award-winning roles, and Stewart, are Nicolette Hart (Maureen Johnson), Justin Johnston (Angel Schunard), Lexi Lawson (Mimi Marquez), Michael McElroy (Tom Collins), Jacques C. Smith (Benjamin Coffin III), and Haneefah Wood (Joanne Jefferson). Jeffrey Seller, Kevin McCollum and Allan S. Gordon have announced that Rent, The Broadway Tour, engagement at New Jersey Performing Arts Center will have a day-of-performance lottery for $20.00 front-row seats, similar to that used during the Broadway run. Those wishing to enter the lottery should arrive at the NJPAC box office two hours prior to curtain to have their names placed in a box. 40 minutes before the show, names will be drawn for the 34 front-row seats. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person, cash only.

Laura Bell Bundy made her Feinstein's debut with JUST ME last night, Thursday, October 30th. JUST ME features Laura Bell singing Broadway songs as well as her own original material. There is an encore performance on Saturday Nov 1st, 2008. BroadwayWorld was there to cheer our favorite Broadway Belle on!

Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies with its next edition of At This Performance… to be held on Monday, October 20th at New York's McGinn/Cazale Theatre. The evening celebrates the popular concert series' 5th Anniversary.

After 595 performances and 30 previews, LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL plays its final performance today, Sunday October 19th. The musical will continue to play across the country, in over 35 cities, on its first national tour.

On Sunday September 7, 2008 the curtain came down on Broadway for the final performance of the landmark musical Rent. After the curtain came down, the party started at Chelsea Piers on Manhattan's West Side, the celebration attracted a starry crowd who partied into the night.
