Vineyard Theatre's annual Gala, this year celebrating the institution's 30th Anniversary, will take place at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street) on Monday, March 18, 2013 beginning at 6:00 p.m. (cocktails at 6:00pm, dinner at 7:30pm and performance at 8:30pm). Single tickets (starting at $750) and tables of 10 are available by contacting The Vineyard's Development Office at 212-353-3366 x242 or development@vineyardtheatre.org. Broadway's Hits Come to Scene Partner(R) With New Release of e-Scripts(TM) from Dramatists Play Service

Three new e-Scripts from Dramatists Play Service have been added to the growing library of recent Broadway hits now available for Scene Partner. The new e-Scripts, OTHER DESERT CITIES by Jon Robin Baitz , THE MOUNTAINTOP by Katori Hall and THE LYONS, by Nicky Silver were part of the recent 2011 - 2012 Broadway season. They join current offerings THE COLUMNIST by David Auburn and GRACE by Craig Wright, both produced on Broadway during the last year. The titles are included in a new release by the Dramatists Play Service as part of the worldwide e-Script agreement with MyTheaterApps.com. They are available to actors and theaters for use in memorizing lines and mounting future theatrical productions of the plays.

The Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis has announced the Indiana Premiere of Nicky Silver's corrosive comedy, The Lyons, in the Frank and Katrina Basile Theatre. Opening tomorrow, Thursday, February 28, and running through Sunday, March 31, 2013, The Lyons was chosen by Phoenix Producing Director Bryan Fonseca specifically for Diane Kondrat in the lead role of Rita Lyons, as her last role before moving to the West Coast. The Dramatists Guild Fund presented their Madge Evans and Sidney Kingsley Award to actress Linda Lavin and playwright Lynn Nottage this past Monday evening. The Dramatists Guild Fund has announced this year's Madge Evans and Sidney Kingsley Award to actress Linda Lavin and playwright Lynn Nottage. The awards will be presented by Dramatists Guild Fund Board Member Terrence McNally on Monday, February 25, 2013 at an intimate salon with award-winning composer Charles Strouse. The event will also include remarks by Jeffrey Lyons, godson of Sidney Kingsley, and will be held at the home of lyricist and playwright Gretchen Cryer.

The Vineyard Theatre has announced its annual Gala, this year celebrating the institution's 30th Anniversary. LUCKY GUY Box Office Opens Tomorrow, Jan 25

The Broadhurst Theatre box office opens tomorrow, Friday, January 25 at 10:00 AM for LUCKY GUY, starring two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, in the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe. The Broadhurst Theatre is located at 235 West 44th Street. The production will play a strictly limited engagement. Opening night is Monday, April 1. Previews begin Friday, March 1.

The Vineyard Theatre proudly announces that its 30th Anniversary season will continue with the New York premiere production of THE NORTH POOL, a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Vineyard's Paula Vogel Award-winning playwright Rajiv Joseph (BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO), directed by Giovanna Sardelli (ANIMALS OUT OF PAPER). Emmy Award nominee Maura Tierney and two-time Tony Award nominee Courtney B. Vance have joined the cast of LUCKY GUY on Broadway. Tierney will be making her Broadway debut, while Vance will be returning to Broadway for the first time in 20 years. The production stars two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, making his Broadway debut, in a new play by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe.

An absurdist black comedy about the demise of the Duncan family, and, by extension, the species, PTERODACTYLS will feature Emmy Award-winner Penny Fuller (THE DINNER PARTY, APPLAUSE) as Duncan family matriarch, Grace; Tony-nominee Bobby Steggert (RAGTIME) as son, Todd; Virginia Kull (THE HEIRESS) as daughter, Emma; and Claybourne Elder (BONNIE & CLYDE) as Emma's fiance Tommy (the role of family patriarch, Arthur, is TBD).
