STAGE TUBE: Madonna Sings EVITA for the First Time on Her Rebel Heart Tour!

Madonna may have launched her Rebel Heart Tour months ago, but it has taken until now for her to perform one of our favorite songs. The music legend just visited in Miami, and while she was there she performed 'Don't Cry for Me, Argentina' from EVITA- a film for which she won a Golden Globe Award in 1997. At the song's conclusion, she said: 'I've been dying to sing that song for the entire tour and this is the first time I've done it.' Check it out below!

Madonna launched her highly anticipated Rebel Heart Tour with a sold-out show at the Bell Centre in Montreal just less than two weeks ago, and BroadwayWorld has obtained a performance video! Below, watch as Madonna sings 'La Vie En Rose'- signature song of Edith Piaf, the subject of the Broadway musical PIAF- with just a ukelele as accompaniment!

On June 23rd, Kelli O'Hara, Michael Cerveris, Mary Testa, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Sherie Rene Scott, Holly Brook and cast members of 'Spring Awakening' joined together to celebrate the release of 'Listen' at an in-store event. The in-store performance and CD signing will took place at 4pm, at the new Barnes and Noble East Side event space, at 86th and Lexington Avenue. BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there to celebrate along with the Our Time family!

On June 23rd, a remarkable album, eight years in the making, will be released. 'LISTEN' is a collection of 15 original songs, written by children who stutter, and recorded by iconic artists including Carly Simon, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Duncan Sheik, John Forte, Mandy Patinkin and many others. In addition, Jon Bon Jovi donated the use of his studio, so that his state-of-the-art facility could support the recording process. Superstars from the worlds of pop, rock, R&B, Broadway, hip-hop and more joined together to contribute their time and talents to a cause bigger than stuttering - a call for compassion and acceptance, and for respect of one-another's differences.

Bingham. Our Time Theatre Company a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an artistic home for young people who stutter.
Joe's Pub Cancels Rymer and Lyles Shows, 9:30 Steinman 'Dream Engine' Concert Still On

Joe's Pub has issued an alert that two of their concerts have been cancelled for the day, Brady Rymer (Good Homes): Every Day Is a Birthday CD release, and Kismet Lyles / Amanda Dumas. The 9:30 PM The Dream Engine, Songs by Jim Steinman concert is still on for tonight, and Joe's Pub will be opening their doors early at 7:30 PM.
