Some of Broadway's brighest will be featured in "Alan & Marilyn Bergman:  Celebrating a 50-Year Collaboration" on Friday, February 02, 2007 at 8:30 PM at The Allen Room.

Presented as part of the American Songbook series, the evening will feature musical direction by Billy Stritch.

"Alan and Marilyn Bergman are among the most prolific and highly-acclaimed popular songwriting teams in American history, having penned some of the most cherished songs of the last 50 years. American Songbook celebrates their enormous contribution with an evening featuring a roster of special guests that includes Brian Stokes Mitchell, Victoria Clark, Sandy Stewart, Lari White, Lillias White, Nicki Richards, and Melissa Errico, who will perform beloved Bergman songs like 'The Way We Were,' 'The Windmills of Your Mind,' 'How Do You Keep the Music Playing,' and 'Papa Can You Hear Me?,'" state press materials.

The Bergmans' Broadway credits include Ballroom and Something More, while film credits include Yentl,  A Star is Born (with Barbra Streisand) and The Way We Were.
