First Folio Theatre Announces Its 2013-2014 Season and The World Premiere of CYMBELINE in June

First Folio Theatre (Mayslake Peabody Estate, 31st St. & Rt. 83), known for bringing stellar performances of Shakespeare and other classics to the Chicagoland stage, announces its 2013-2014 season. The season begins with the poignant dramaTHE RAINMAKER, previewing July 31, opening August 3 and running through September 1, 2013. The whimsical comedy ROUGH CROSSING previews January 30, opens February 1 and runs through March 3, 2014; the world premiere of SALVAGE previews March 26, opens March 29 and runs through April 27, 2014; and Shakespeare's effervescent tale THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR previewsJuly 7, opens July 10, and runs through August 10, 2014.

Eclipse Theatre's WOMAN IN MIND Opens 4/14

Eclipse Theatre Company (www.eclipsetheatre.com), the only theatre company in the Midwest to feature the works of one playwright in one season, will open their 2013 season featuring the works of Sir Alan Ayckbourn with his dark comedy Woman in Mind, directed by Eclipse Ensemble Member and Goodman Theatre Associate Producer/Artistic Associate Steve Scott.

Remy Bumppo Theatre Presents SEASCAPE, Now thru 10/14

Long-time Remy Bumppo Artistic Associate Nick Sandys succeeded in obtaining rights to Seascape to open his first full season as the theatre's Artistic Director, themed 'The Marriage Game: Truth and Consequence?' Sandys will be directing the production, his first time to direct Albee since doing The Zoo Story in Texas in 1989. Seascape runs today, September 12 through October 14, 2012, at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave.
