The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, presented the 2019 installment of the celebrated concert series NEO, featuring works by new/emerging/outstanding musical theatre writersAmanda D'Archangelis & Sami Horneff, Julian Hornik, Janine McGuire & Arri Lawton Simon, and Madeline Myers. In addition to these six writers, this year's NEO of the Future program showcased two songs by writers who are currently undergraduate students: Sarah Kaufman, a senior at CAP21/Molloy College, and Caleb Smith, a junior at Penn State.

The Green Room 42 presents the International Touring Casts of A Chorus Line in Off the Line, a concert series, on Monday, March 1st at 9:30PM. After successful performances at Feinstein's/ 54 BELOW, the international touring cast of A Chorus Line will present an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and laughter at The Green Room 42. Off the Line will feature a behind the scenes look at the character's inner thoughts and life on the road through the best of the musical theatre cannon.
The starry lineup is set for the sixth monthly concert in the year-long Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On March 25 at 7pm and 9:30pm, The Green Room 42 will present Beyonce: Unplugged, featuring original "unplugged" arrangements of the pop star's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band.
Joshua Turchin will return to The Green Room 42 with his cabaret series, 'The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin,' on February 10, 2019 at 2pm. Turchin has previously performed two successful shows, 'The Early Night Show at The Green Room' and the 'West End Lounge,' and regularly music directs and accompanies at The Green Room 42's (YOUNG) cabaret series. Special guests from Broadway, television and film will join Turchin on stage. Cearley (Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors) has performed the play across the country, playing Alex More - the out of work actor who says yes to a mysterious job and ends up in the basement of a legend - along with the rotating cast of characters who fill Alex's life, including Barbra Streisand.
