The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts was awarded a grant from the Worcester Arts Council to facilitate a Creative Drama Workshop in collaboration with Pernet Family Health Services.

Vocalist Rachel Ulanet, who has appeared on Broadway as Belle in Beauty and the Beast, as well as Lovemusik and King David,  makes her Feinstein's/54 Below solo debut with Keep Me Searching. Ulanet's funny and provocative reflection on our changing political and social landscape is supported by a strong and timeless repertoire. Performing music from Stevie Wonder, Kurt Weill, Bonnie Raitt, Michel Legrand and Neil Young, among others, Ulanet explores our shared experiences during these unusual times, and their effect on her life as an artist, mother and citizen. Directed by Julie Reyburn (Sondheim Unplugged, multi-MAC, Bistro, and Nightlife Award winner), Keep Me Searching features a trio headed by Musical Director/pianist Matt Baker, with Ray Marchica on drums and Michael Blanco on bass. Wooden Shjips have shared “Red Line,” the second single from their upcoming album V., out May 25th on Thrill Jockey. The quartet is the backbone of the psychedelic scene in the 21st century, consistently updating the expansive sounds of the classic West Coast progenitors for the new era. “Red Line” is indicative of the band's direction on V., which shows the group shedding darker tones for brightness and optimism, firmly in opposition to the growing clouds of dread that permeate life in America in 2018. A major key riff anchors the track as swirls of overlapping delayed guitars offer an ecstatic release. As the last vestiges of winter recede Wooden Shjips give us the perfect soundtrack to the emerging summer.

Abramorama announced today a deal with Apple Corps Ltd. and Universal Music Group (UMG) to theatrically release The Beatles' classic 1968 animated feature film, Yellow Submarine, across North America this July in celebration of its 50thanniversary. Abramorama, Apple Corps Ltd. and UMG have teamed to give Beatles fans of all ages the opportunity to come together and share in this visually stunning movie and soundtrack. Abramorama originally partnered with Apple Corps, Imagine Entertainment, White Horse Pictures, StudioCanal and UMG's Polygram Entertainment on the Ron Howard documentary The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - The Touring Years. America's preeminent progressive rock band KANSAS will tour select U.S. cities this fall, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their massive hit album “Point of Know Return” and performing the album in its entirety.
