Two-time Tony Award-winning producer Jennifer Isaacson has joined Broadway Licensing as the new Director of Amateur Play Licensing. Jennifer Isaacson will oversee all amateur licensing for the Playscripts and DPS imprints under the parent company of Broadway Licensing.

Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles (GMCLA) proudly presents A HOLIDAY HOMECOMING, marking its return to live, in-person concerts after a two-year pandemic hiatus. If it just isn't Christmas until you've heard Lady Bunny butcher your favorite Christmas carol, you are sure to be joyful and triumphant as the legendary drag icon presents the World Premiere of LADY BUNNY: OH, COME ALL YE HATEFUL! beginning December 8 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

The film stars Neil Patrick Harris, Winslow Fegley, June Diane Raphael,and Steve Zahn. Set in suburban Chicago in the late 1980s, 8-Bit Christmas centers on ten-year-old Jake Doyle’s (Fegley) herculean quest to get the latest and greatest video game system for Christmas. Harris narrates as a grown up Jake.

In celebration of its 300 issue, Out Magazine is having a weeklong celebration with new covers being unveiled each day. Today, it was revealed that Broadway veteran, and star of the upcoming West Side Story film, Ariana DeBose, is the last of the six covers to be featured.

The hit live show has been devised by Well-Strung, Mark Cortale and director Richard Jay-Alexander, and features the group’s own unique pop-classical spin on some of the most beautiful and traditional holiday favorites, such as  'Silent Night', 'Sleigh Ride,' all the way to Dolly Parton’s “Hard Candy Christmas” and everything in between.

Brooks Ashmanskas, Tisha Campbell, and Emerson Brooks have been announced to join Neil Patrick Harris has series regulars in the upcoming Netflix comedy series, Uncoupled. Marcia Gay Harden and Tuc Watkins have also been announced as reoccurring characters.

Welcome to Bea's NYCC Speed Interview Series! As I attended New York Comic Con 2021 (October 7-10, 2021), I did a series of short interviews with influential creators. For issue #8, here's a speed interview with James C. Mulligan, an artist for The Walt Disney Company. His paintings are collected by impressive names, including (but not limited to!) Johnny Depp, Roger Daltrey, Neil Patrick Harris, (the late) Hugh Hefner, Chuck Liddel and the Presley family. Before his current work with Disney, he performed in national Broadway tours.

Black Button Eyes Productions is welcoming back live audiences this fall with the popular internet musical Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, an authorized fan production to benefit the Chicago charity Season of Concern, playing now through November 6, 2021 at The Edge Theater.

Throughout the song, Harris is joined by Tonny-winning heavyweights such as Kinky Boots and Pippin and literal heavyweight Mike Tyson, who had a one-man show on Broadway in 2012. Harris is also joined by a magician and many child actors, who Harris claims are “the reason this whole season seems to look like Chuck-E-Cheese.”
