92Y presents an evening with the stars and director behind the new Broadway musical The Bridges of Madison County, on Sunday, January 5 at 7:30 pm. Four-time Tony Award-nominee Kelli O'Hara (Francesca) and Steven Pasquale (Robert Kincaid) join Tony Award-winning director Bartlett Sher for a conversation moderated by Tony Award winning composer/lyricist Adam Guettel. The evening will also include a few performances of songs from the show.

Fran Drescher to Make Broadway Debut as 'Madame' in CINDERELLA in February; Harriet Harris to Depart on 2/3

The producers of Cinderella announced today that television and film star Fran Drescher will make her Broadway debut as Cinderella's stepmother Madame, beginning performances on February 4th for a 10-week run through April 13 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Ms. Drescher takes over the role created by Harriet Harris, who concludes her acclaimed year-long run in the musical to return to her home in California.

RE-GIFT OF THE MAGI Begins Tomorrow at Chain Theatre

RE-GIFT OF THE MAGI, a new play by Janet Hopf, is set to begin performances tomorrow, December 6th with the Opening Night on Thursday, December 12th at The Chain Theatre. Last night, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented Broadway/television leading man Cheyenne Jackson on the stage of the historic music room for the first of two shows. According to Birdland's website, Broadway veteran Cheyenne Jackson will be making his debut at the venue with his brand new show, featuring songs from his new album, 'I'm Blue Skies', as well as classics from his acclaimed one-man show 'Music of the Mad Men Era,' which sold out at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy CenteR. Jackson will be working with long-time musical director Ben Toth at Birdland tonight and tomorrow, December 1 & 2, 2013 at 6 PM and 9:15 PM, respectively.

MCC Theater's SMALL ENGINE REPAIR Extends Again Through Dec 21

MCC THEATER announced today that the New York Premiere of John Pollono's Small Engine Repair will now play through December 21, 2013. Keegan Allen, James Badge Dale, playwright/actor John Pollono, and James Ransone star in the production directed by longtime MCC collaborator Jo Bonney (MCC's The Break of Noon, Fat Pig). Small Engine Repair at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) had its official opening night on November 20, 2013 and was previously extended through December 15, 2013. The show must close December 21st to make way for the next Lortel tenant.
