Cow. Slob. Pig. How many insults can you tolerate before taking a stand to defend the woman you love? Neil LaBute's provocative comedy, Fat Pig opens April 26 at the Hudson Mainstage in Hollywood. The revival, directed by Alexis Jacknow, features new material not seen before in L.A.

Breaking new ground with award-winning scripted dramas for the digital age, WIGS announced today that Season Three of BLUE, starring Julia Stiles ('The Bourne Ultimatum') as the title character, will be available in four longer-form episodes, each of which runs between 40-60 minutes, on Hulu (www.hulu.com/blue) and the Hulu Plus subscription service, beginning Friday morning today, March 28. Also available on Hulu and Hulu Plus that day will be a new longer-form episode of WIGS series PALOMA, written and directed by Stiles and starring Grace Gummer ('Margin Call').

Metaphysics Exam Productions' inaugural season will begin with Neil LaBute's reasons to be pretty. The production is set to open tonight, March 27th and run at the newly renovated Sonnet Theater at the Producers' Club through Sunday, March 30th. The Sonnet Theater is located at 358 W 44th St, Third Floor.

The New York based company, The One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF) (Dominic D'Andrea, Producing Artistic Director) and Perseverance Theatre (Art Rotch, Artistic Director) create dynamic partnership to bring The 1st Alaska One-Minute Play Festival, to Anchorage with part of the proceeds to benefit Perseverance's community based and artistic ourtreach programming in Anchorage.

The One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF) and Pheonix Theatre announce The Basile One-Minute Play Festival, running for three performances only: tonight, March 22, at 8:00 pm, Sunday, March 23, at 5:00 pm and Monday, March 24, 2014 at 7:00 pm.

Profiles Theatre announces an extension for their Midwest premiere of Cock by Mike Bartlett, directed by Artistic Director Darrell W. Cox. The production opened February 20, 2014 and will extend for an additional seven weeks through May 25, 2014. Original cast members Eleni Pappageorge, Christopher Sheard and Jake Szczepaniak continue their roles with Torrey Hanson joining the cast beginning April 10, 2014. Performances are held at The Main Stage, 4139 N. Broadway.

The Episcopal Actors' Guild's annual celebration of new work continues with a staged reading of Man in the Moon by Mark Karafin. The reading will be held tonight, March 20 in Guild Hall at 7:00 pm, and followed by a reception. Past Barbour Award winners include Ian August (Donna Orbits the Moon), Lynn Rosen (Apple Cove), and Laura Eason (40 Days).

New dramatic works by Tony-winning playwright John Guare (House of Blue Leaves, Six Degrees of Separation) and dramatist, screenwriter and film director Neil LaBute (In the Company of Men, The Shape of Things and Reasons to be Pretty) highlight a three-night festival of new short plays and monologues at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe (236 East 3rd Street). Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Cafe's literacy and afterschool programs, which serve thousands of students from disadvantaged communities.

Thirty One Productions is proud to present, by arrangement with Samuel French Ltd, BASH Latterday Plays by Neil LaBute. BASH Latterday Plays is a collection of three one act plays. In the first, Iphigenia In Orem, a businessman from Utah divulges a chilling crime to a stranger in a Las Vegas hotel room. In A Gaggle Of Saints, a young Mormon couple each describe their version of events of a night in New York City. In Medea Redux, a woman recounts her intricate relationship with her junior high-school English teacher. Together, these one acts paint a vivid picture of the evils found in everyday life.

The 8th Annual One-Minute Play Festival will take place Wednesday, April 2, 2014 for two performances only, at 6PM and 9PM at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. REG E. CATHEY (House of Cards, The Wire) joins the cast of EXODUS: DREAMS OF THE PROMISED LAND IN ANTEBELLUM AMERICA, playing multiple roles including Solomon Northrup (Twelve Years a Slave) and the Abolitionist Frederick Douglass. The cast also includes ROSALYN COLEMAN WILLIAMS (The Mountaintop, Seven Guitars, The Piano Lesson) in multiple roles including Elizabeth Keckley (familiar to audiences from the movie Lincoln), JENNIFER RAU as Abolitionist Angelina Grimke, and the noted vocal ensemble THE WESTERN WIND. Conceived by Salon/Sanctuary's Founding Artistic Director Jessica Gould to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, EXODUS was originally presented last year in a sold-out performance staged at the historic Fraunces Tavern, the oldest structure in Manhattan.

Two hilarious and irreverent plays by Neil LaBute are now available for download or on CD. Last season, L.A. Theatre Works recorded both 'reasons to be pretty' and its sequel, 'Reasons to Be Happy,' live-in-performance with LaBute directing.
