Tackling the stage adaptation of The Shawshank Redemption would be a daunting task for anyone, so it was with equal parts anticipation and apprehension that I approached the theatre for the opening night performance at Ottawa Little Theatre.
Corrib Theatre has announced its first production of the classic play WAITING FOR GODOT by Samuel Beckett, running November 29-Dec 15, 2024. The cast includes Roo Welsh as Vladimir, Karl Hanover as Estragon, Jonathan Cullen as Pozzo, Doren Elias as Lucky, and Max O'Hare as The Boy.
Peter James Haworth stars as King Lear in this landmark production. Supported generously by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ottawa Community Foundation, King Lear brings Ottawa actors home. The sizeable cast celebrates the depth of talent in our city, making this show a special treat for audiences, who are rarely offered large-scale productions by local indie companies. Bear & Co. collaborates with New Theatre of Ottawa to showcase our city's finest.

Christian Anderson III, the president and publisher of the Oregonian Publishing Company; Stoel Rives partner Randolph Foster; and Arcadia Investment Corporation co-founder John Taylor to the Portland Center Stage Board of Directors, with 3 year terms starting in July 2010.
