Annex Theatre to Host Multidisciplinary Fundraising Event WATER IS LIFE to Benefit Standing Rock 11/27

On Sunday, Nov. 27 at 7:30pm, join us for a multidisciplinary fundraising event Water is Life: Support Standing Rock. The evening will include a silent auction where the proceeds of all paintings, herbal medicines, and sculptures created by Native and local artists will go directly to Standing Rock. There will also be performances written and performed by Native theatre makers and musicians.

Chicago -Pegasus Theatre Chicago announces the world premiere of Rutherford's Travels, the adaptation of Charles Johnson's beloved National Book Award-winning novel, "Middle Passage," November 2 - December 4 at Pegasus's resident home Chicago Dramatists, 773 N. Aberdeen. Rutherford's Travels is co-adapted and directed by Pegasus Theatre Producing Artistic Director Ilesa Duncan and co-adapted by David Barr, III, music directed and composed by Shawn Wallace and choreographed by Nicole Clarke-Springer.

The Playwrights' Center and Jerome Foundation are pleased to announce the 2016-17 Jerome Fellows, Many Voices Fellows and Many Voices Mentees. The Jerome Fellowship for emerging playwrights is the Jerome Foundation's longest-awarded program, entering its 40th year. The Many Voices Fellowship was created in 1994 in partnership with the Jerome Foundation and significantly expanded in 2013.
