After Fire, Taproot Theatre Seeks New Location ENCHANTED APRIL, 10/23-10/24

As fire crews work on the scene of this morning's fire on 85th street in Greenwood, Taproot Theatre is working on finding an alternative theatre space for the remaining performances of Enchanted April, which is set to close this Saturday to three sold-out performances.

39 Steps Replaces Hudsucker Proxy and Other Updates Announced for La Jolla Playhouse Season

La Jolla Playhouse announces updates to its 2009/2010 season. Alfred Hitchcock?s The 39 Steps, based on the beloved Alfred Hitchcock thriller, adapted for the stage by Patrick Barlow, directed by Maria Aitken, will replace the previously-announced Page-to-Stage production of The Hudsucker Proxy. The 39 Steps will run August 11 ? September 13 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.

Public Theater Announces Complete Casting for Native Theater Festival

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) announced casting today for the second year of the Native Theater Festival, a four day festival dedicated to presenting extraordinary theatrical work by Native theater artists from the U.S. and Canada.
