Nathan Lee Graham -- the singular Grammy Award-winning singer, actor and bon vivant -- will perform on both coasts this spring in two different spectacular evenings of music.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present jazz singer Gabrielle Stravelli in "On The Road Again" on Monday, April 11.  With a band that included Art Hirahara on piano, Pat O'Leary on bass, Eric Halvorson on drums and Scott Robinson on sax, 'On the Road Again' featured songs Stravelli has collected and composed in travels as varied as a US State Department-sponsored international tour, headlining the Eleuthera Jazz Festival in the Bahamas and a nine-month European tour of Hair.  The show showcased Stravelli's signature mix of eclectic influences including international folk songs, jazz standards, fresh arrangements of pop and musical theater, original compositions from her forthcoming CD release and a preview of her new Willie Nelson tribute 'City Girl, Country Boy'.

The 20th Annual Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Awards were held on April 11 at the Holiday Inn Boston/Brookline. Founded by Beverly Creasey of the Journal Newspapers and Larry Stark of the TheaterMirror in 1997, the IRNE Awards recognize the extraordinary wealth of talent in the Boston theatre community.

The sold-out audience at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre was dazzled Monday, March 21, 2016, by this year's stirring edition of BROADWAY BACKWARDS. The annual celebration, where men sing songs originally written for women and vice versa offering this audience the chance to see LGBT stories told through the great songs of musical theatre, set a new fundraising record. Broadway's new musical comedy DISASTER!, directed by Jack Plotnick with a book by three-time Emmy Award nominee and Grammy Award nominee Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, officially opened last night, March 8, 2016, for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 3, 2016. The Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) today announced the nominees for the 20th Annual IRNE Awards, which honors the best of the previous year's actors, directors, choreographers, designers and companies across the full spectrum of large, mid-size and fringe theater companies.
