The Public Theater begins previews for the New York premiere of BUZZER tonight, March 24. Written by Tracey Scott Wilson, BUZZER marks the return of Wilson to The Public following her acclaimed The Good Negro in 2009 and The Story in 2003. Directed by Obie award winner Anne Kauffman, BUZZER will run in The Public's Martinson Theater through Sunday, April 26, with an official press opening on Wednesday, April 8.

The American Theatre Wing recognizes the recipients of the 2015 Jonathan Larson Grants: writing team Tim Rosser (composer) & Charlie Sohne (composer) receiving $10,000, Sam Willmott (composer/lyricist) receiving $10,000 and a week-long residency at the Running Deer Musical Theatre Lab, and Max Vernon (composer/lyricist) receiving $10,000.

In the coming months, Broadway will welcome a fresh crop of productions- many of which will mark the Broadway debuts for a slew of talented actors. Whether they are fresh faces or established stars, these Broadway babies will soon take their very first bows on some of the grandest stages in the world.

Broadway and TV actor Michael Pemberton, soon to be seen on the upcoming season of HBO's Emmy Award-winning comedy Veep, is set to star in the premiere of the powerful new drama BROKEN which will run from April 9-26 at Shetler Studios Theatres (244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor). The play centers on the interactions between a prison doctor and a teenage inmate who committed a terrible mass shooting spree less than a month ago.

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade will present Battalion Theatre's production of The Tutors by Erica Lipez, tonight, March 12-28 at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) with performances Today through Saturday at 7:30pm.

This season's mainstage production, John Ford's 'Tis Pity She's A Whore, directed by Red Bull Artistic Director Jesse Berger, will begin a limited Off-Broadway engagement April 14th at The Duke on 42nd Street. Opening Night is set for Sunday April 26th. Performances continue through May 16th.

4th Wall Theatre, a non-union professional theatre in Bloomfield, NJ is presenting Next Fall, tonight, Mar. 7-15, which had its Broadway premiere in February 2010 at the Helen Hayes Theater. The show will be directed by Gwen Ricks-Spencer, Executive Director of 4th Wall.

Ensemble Studio Theatre/Youngblood world premiere Five Times In One Night by Chiara Atik, directed by R.J. Tolan, has been extended for another week at Ensemble Studio Theatre, 549 West 52nd Street, with a must close date of Saturday, March 21.

"Do This One Thing for Me," Jane Elias's poignant solo play of self-discovery through her relationship with her father, a Holocaust survivor, will be reprised in a special four-week engagement at The TBG Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, beginning Thursday April 9. Written and performed by Elias, with direction by Tracy Bersley, "Do This One Thing for Me" dramatizes the delicate balance between family legacy and a quest for independence that the children of survivors must often strike.

PAGE 73 has awarded Nick Gandiello the 2015 P73 Playwriting Fellowship. Gandiello, who was selected from more than 450 applicants, will receive the company's top prize, which includes a $10,000 award and additional $10,000 budgeted for developing several new plays over the course of the year. Page 73 will also produce at least one public workshop for Gandiello this year.

The Sheryl Kaller helmed musical adaption of the Aldous Huxley classic BRAVE NEW WORLD will present two presentations onFebruary 23rd at 3PM and February 24th at noon following the culmination of a two week experimental AEA Lab.

FIREBONE THEATRE has announced the world premiere production of Don Nguyen'sRED FLAMBOYANT, directed by Laura Savia. RED FLAMBOYANT will play a limited engagement at Anderson Hall at Calvary St. George's (61 Gramercy Park North, New York, NY 10010). Performances begin Friday, April24 and continue through Saturday, May16. Opening Night is Saturday, April25 (8 p.m.).

SPACE on Ryder Farm announced today that Alex Barron will become its first Artistic Curator. An accomplished dramaturg, literary manager and producer, Barron will oversee all artistic programming at SPACE on Ryder Farm - including its residency program and resident writers group,The Working Farm - and will spearhead new artistic projects and programs. Barron will work closely with SPACE's Executive Director Emily Simoness to grow the company's mission while maintaining its commitment to enriching artists and their work.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre presents Abundance, the 1990 play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart). An epic tale of friendship set against the backdrop of the sweeping American West, Abundance will be directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, who directed last season's production of William Inge's Natural Affection. Performances begin at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) tonight, February 17, 2015.

A rare revival of Rocket to the Moon, the 1938 play by Clifford Odets (AWAKE AND SING, GOLDEN BOY), starring Ned Eisenberg, starts performances tonight at the Theatre at St. Clement's. Directed by Obie and Lucille Lortel Award winner Dan Wackerman (Counsellor-at-Law), Rocket to the Moon will play a limited engagement, opening Monday, February 23rd.
