Irish Repertory Theatre has announced the world premiere of OFF THE METER, ON THE RECORD, written and performed by John McDonagh (Producer of "Radio Free Eireann"). Directed by Ciaran O'Reilly (The Emperor Jones), OFF THE METER, ON THE RECORD begins performances on October 6, 2017 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the W. Scott McLucas Studio Stage, with an opening night set for October 17, 2017, and will run through November 5, 2017.

Steep Theatre's 17th season will open this fall with the Chicago premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Ayad Akhtar's The Invisible Hand, directed by Audrey Francis. Akhtar won the Pulitzer for his play Disgraced, which premiered in 2012 at American Theatre Company in Chicago and later played both at the Goodman Theatre and on Broadway.

Previews begin tonight, September 6, at 8PM for the Playwrights Horizons world premiere production of The Treasurer, a new play by Max Posner (Judy) and directed by three-time Lortel Award winner David Cromer (The Band's Visit, Our Town, Adding Machine). Theatre for a New Audience has announced the retirement of Henry Christensen III as Chairman of the Theatre's Board, a position he has held since 2012, due to health reasons. Theodore C. Rogers and Robert Buckholz will succeed Mr. Christensen as TFANA's Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively. Mr. Christensen will continue as a member of the Board of Directors.
