The Television Academy today announced Star Trek as the 2018 Governors Award recipient, recognizing the visionary science-fiction television franchise and its legacy of boldly propelling science, society and culture where no one has gone before. The prestigious award winner was chosen by the Television Academy board of governors and the honor will be presented to CBS Television Studios during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

The Comrades are pleased to launch their 2018-19 season with the Midwest premiere of Kenneth Lin's political drama WARRIOR CLASS, directed by Carol Ann Tan playing October 11 - November 11, 2018 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N Lincoln Avenue in Chicago. San Diego Musical Theatre announced today the cast and creative team for its upcoming production of Young Frankenstein.

NBC has won the primetime ratings week of Aug. 20-26, tying the highest adult 18-49 average for any network since ABC was boosted by the NBA Finals 11 weeks ago and delivering the most-watched week for any net over that same 11-week span.

King of The Hill will rule over Comedy Central this Labor Day with its first-ever King of the Hill holiday marathon, King of the Hill's Grillstravaganza, featuring the beloved animated comedy's best grill-themed episodes. Grillstravaganza – an homage to the series' Strickland Propane annual sales event of the same name – begins at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT on September 3 and continues until 11:00 p.m. that evening.
