There will be a Memorial for Francis Scarlett Mason Jr. this coming Friday, October 30th, 2009 at 2:00 pm at The Joyce Theater, 175 Eighth Avenue (at 19th Street). It is open to the general public.

In advance of his 2009/2010 world tour, we are pleased to announce that comedy legend Jackie Mason is performing at the Queens Theatre in the Park in Corona, New York to try out new material on Wednesday, August 12th @ 2:00 PM and Friday, August 14th @ 8:30 PM. As an actor, he has performed in several movies, on television, and in Broadway shows, and has won numerous Tony and Emmy Awards. As a comedian, he has been called ?extraordinary? and ?brilliant,? and is well known in the entertainment industry as the standard to which all others are compared. Mason?s stand-up routine is now more popular than ever, combining pungent political satire, insightful observations on the foibles of modern life, and impeccable timing to create material that leaves audiences laughing until they cry, and critics raving show after show.

Jackie will play his final New York stage appearance on Sunday July 20th. Jackie has long said this would be his final NY one-man show, and unlike many of his colleagues (Streisand, Cher, etc) - he means it!!
