On December 6, 2010 (on what would have been Lynn Fontanne's 123rd birthday), Ten Chimneys Foundation announced that ten of the top stage actors in America have been selected as the 2011 Lunt-Fontanne Fellows. These ten distinguished actors (see list below) were nominated by the nation's premier regional theatres to participate in the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program, a widely acclaimed national program to serve the future of American theatre. Next summer (July 24-31, 2011), the newly selected Lunt-Fontanne Fellows will join Academy Award-winning actress Olympia Dukakis for an intensive weeklong master class and immersion experience at Ten Chimneys, the National Historic Landmark estate of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin (just outside of Milwaukee).

Gray Line New York's Ride of FameTM campaign honored award winning and legendary actor, Richard Dreyfuss for his achievements as an outstanding New Yorker today. A double decker tour bus bearing his likeness was unveiled at a ceremony which took place in front of the Cherry Lane Theatre located on Commerce Street, where his new play, Imagining Heschel which started this week is playing. Dreyfuss, who is also current on the hit TV show Weeds, took a tour on his new bus, with 30 of his fans, and got on the microphone and helped with the tour!

The 2011 Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum season was announced today by Center Theatre Group Artistic Director Michael Ritchie. Stellar actors such as Jane Fonda, John Lithgow and Olympia Dukakis will be featured in plays by Moisés Kaufman, John Lithgow and Morris Panych, respectively, plus works by Lanford Wilson and Theresa Rebeck will be presented in the Taper's 44th season at the Los Angeles Music Center.
