A world premiere of The Letter V by acclaimed American choreographer Mark Morris, the world premiere of Stanton Welch's Zodiac and the revival of Ji?i Kylian's iconic Svadebka make this program a must-see for all ballet lovers. Asolo Rep's 2014-2015 season Historic Asolo Theater production will be Pulitzer and Greenfield Prize winning playwright Nilo Cruz's lyrical new play, Sotto Voce. This exquisitely observed metaphysical romance will be co-directed by Asolo Rep's Producing Artistic Director Michael Donald Edwards and playwright Nilo Cruz, who crafted the Spanish translation for Hamlet, Prince of Cuba at Asolo Rep in 2012. Sotto Voce, which had its world premiere at the Theater for the New City in February 2014, opens Thursday, April 2, 2015 in the Historic Asolo Theater and runs through Sunday, April 26, with previews on Tuesday, March 31 andWednesday, April 1. The title of this celebrated new work is an Italian musical term that means to speak in a soft manner with purpose.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) Artistic Director Vincent Cardinal announced that Matthew J. Pugliese is the theater's new Interim Managing Director. Pugliese is stepping in to fill the role recently vacated by Frank Mack, who served for 10 years as the Managing Director of Connecticut Repertory Theatre. Mack will stay with CRT as Management Associate, and join the Department of Dramatic Arts faculty as Associate Professor of Arts Administration, as he pilots the schools' graduate online certificate in Arts Administration and the new Master of Fine Arts in Arts Administration program.
Two new plays by local playwright TJ Edwards will premiere at the Gallery Players of Brooklyn starting June 13th and running until June 23rd as part of their 16th Annual Black Box New Play Festival. Mr. Edwards has won two Helen Hayes awards for Outstanding New Play, and his plays have been performed in New York, Los Angeles and London-as well as cities throughout the U.S.

Based on the endearing Little House on the Prairie book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, Main Street Theater's Theater for Youth is presenting a feel good children's holiday show that the whole family can enjoy. A LITTLE HOUSE CHRISTMAS, adapted by James DeVita, is inspired by the Christmas happenings in Little House in the Big Woods, Little House on the Prairie, and borrows Mrs. Oleson and Nellie Oleson from On the Banks of Plum Creek. The plot of the play revolves around a pre-Christmas party that is being thrown at the Ingalls' home. An unexpected storm threatens to cut off everybody's access to town, so the guests have to make a hurried departure and cut the party short. Continued rains and a ruined bridge threaten to ruin Christmas for Laura and Mary, until they come up with their own plan to preserve the magic of the holiday.
