A PERFECT FUTURE Begins Run At The Cherry Lane Theater 2/4/2011

Tony Award-winning producer Andy Sandberg (Hair, The Last Smoker in America) will present the world premiere of the provocative new play, A Perfect Future, by David Hay (The Maddening Truth) with direction by Tony Award-nominee Wilson Milam (The Lieutenant of Inishmore).

Lantern Theaer Co. Honors Larkin & Mulroney At 2011 Annual Benefit 2/18

Lantern Theater Company is thrilled to announce that it will honor Lucille Larkin and Ellen Mulroney with the 2011 Luminary Award at its Annual Benefit on Friday, February 18, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A Midwinter Night's Dream will be held at the elegant Down Town Club at 6th & Chestnut Streets in Center City, and will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dessert, plus live music from the Alex Hiele Trio and a Silent Auction featuring exclusive vacations, fine dining, entertainment, adventures, sports, and other unique items.

Amphibian Stage Productions Announces 2011 Season

Amphibian Stage Productions is proud to embark on its twelfth season of plays that challenge the way we see the world around us. The adventure continues as Amphibian Stage Productions brings to Fort Worth six plays - three of them regional premieres - by playwrights both new and seasoned. Amphibian's mainstage season will include three full productions at the Hardy and Betty Sanders Theater, located in the Fort Worth Community Arts Center: Animals Out of Paper by Rajiv Joseph, Wittenberg by David Davalos, and Vigil by Morris Panych.

Lantern Theater Company will present a weekend of literary events and performances with The Chekhov Festival from Friday, November 5 - Sunday, November 7, in celebration of the influential work of Russian playwright, short-story writer, and physician Anton Chekhov (1860-1904) during the 150th anniversary year of his birth. The Chekhov Festival features a series of performances, readings, and discussions with scholars over dinner. The three-day Festival is offered in conjunction with the 2010/11 season opener, Uncle Vanya (through Nov. 21), Lantern's first-ever production of a full-length Chekhov work.
