SF Sketchfest presented by Audible announces the initial line up for the 18th annual San Francisco Comedy Festival January 10-27, 2019, featuring top comedic talent performing in venues across the city. The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for The Old Globe and University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program presentation of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Directed by Allegra Libonati, the classic political tragedy will run October 20-28, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Lively McCabe Entertainment announces that it has inked a deal with Round Hill Music, a full-service, creative music company with a core focus on music publishing. The deal grants the company, recently launched by producer Michael Barra, access to Round Hill Music's catalogue of music and artists to package into new entertainment projects. Lively McCabe Entertainment will package and produce projects in which the music is instrumental to the storytelling -- as opposed to solely serving as the soundtrack. The projects will span across various media platforms, including the live stage, as well as television series, films, digital media, and book publishing.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team as the 2018 Summer Shakespeare Festival continues with the finest of the Bard's work outdoors under the stars in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Celebrate romance with Much Ado About Nothing, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (the Globe's Love's Labor's Lost), running August 12 - September 16, 2018. DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST opens at Artisan Center Theater on Friday, May 25, 2018 and runs through Saturday, July 7, 2018. The 196 seat theater-in-the-round is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with 3:00pm matinees on Saturdays beginning June 2. Reserved seating tickets are $24.00 for adults, $22.00 for students and seniors, and $12.00 for children 12 and under.
