After the cast gave the final bows, it was time to celebrate the music, memories and magic that was Spring Awakening. Current cast members, show alumni and the creative team headed to Bond 45 on 45th St. to get the bittersweet yet joyous festivites started and 'not do sadness', BroadwayWorld tagged along to join in the emotional closing night party. When Spring Awakening closed, it had played 859 performances and 29 previews. Its eight 2007 Tony? Awards, including Best Musical, made Spring Awakening one of the biggest Tony winners in the past decade.
