On Monday, May 4 multi award-winning composer and lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver will bring sexy schoolteachers, provocative rent-boys, obsessive homicidal teenagers, and fairy dust to Joe's Pub.

RATED RSO: The Music and Lyrics of Ryan Scott Oliver will star special guest Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde) alongside Broadway talents Alex Brightman (Wicked, Glory Days), Morgan Karr (Spring Awakening), Lindsay Mendez (Grease, Second Stage's Everyday Rapture), Natalie Weiss (Wicked), and Jay Armstrong Johnson (Hair, A Chorus Line).

Also appearing that evening will be 2009 MAC Nominee Cait Doyle, with Mat Burrow, Arielle Jacobs, Katie Gassert, Geoff Kidwell, Lyle Mackston and Grace Wall, and introducing Jennifer DeRosa.

RATED RSO is directed by Travis Greisler, music directed by B. T. Ryback and produced by Rob Shapiro and Alexander Rea. Showtime is 11:30pm. Tickets are $20 at the door or $15 in advance.

Joe's Pub is located at the Public Theater, 425 Lafayette Street in New York City, between East 4th and Astor Place. Tickets may be purchased online at joespub.com, phone 212-967-7555, in person at the Public Theater Box Office (1 PM to 6 PM), or at the Joe's Pub Box Office from (6 PM to 10 PM) both located at 425 Lafayette Street, NYC. For table reservations please call 212-539-8778. Purchase of tickets does NOT guarantee a table reservation; you must call to reserve seats. Seating, as well as standing-room, is available only on a first-come, first-served basis for all shows without a dinner reservation. Two drink or $12 food minimum per person is standard.

Ryan Scott Oliver is a 2008 Richard Rodgers Award winner, 2009 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient, and 2009 MAC nominee. He wrote the music and lyrics for Mrs. Sharp (2008 Richard Rodgers Award Winner, formerly Alive at Ten), Darling (Pace New Musicals 2009), the song cycle Out of My Head, music for Angus Oblong's The Debbies and music and co-lyrics for the hit YouTube TV show The Battery's Down. His work has been presented in showcases including the Disney/ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop, Goodspeed Musicals, William Finn & Barrington Stages, The York Theatre, Monday Nights New Voices, the Festival of New American Musicals in Los Angeles, and most recently The Ryan Scott Oliver Project conceived by Philly Music Theatre Works. He is a Dramatists Guild Fellow, and the recipient of numerous awards including the first-ever ASCAP Foundation Harold Adamson Award for Excellence in Lyric Writing.
