New York based Australian Alison Ethell's song 'December in New York', which is posted on Youtube, has made many feeling that December, in the greatest city in the world, is here already.

The New York Times reports that Bernadette Peters and Martin Short are in talks with producers about co-starring as 'Agnes Snow' and 'Michael Snow' in a revival of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's I DO I DO. Talks about the possible revival are in the earliest phases and no readings or workshops have been planned. The producers behind the revival are Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Promises, Promises, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Smash), and Broadway Across America's John Gore and Beth Williams.

Tony Award winner Idina Menzel will take the stage in Kansas City at the Kauffman Center on November 12, 2011. Tickets are now on sale HERE, ranging from $49.50 - $95.00. As previously reported by BWW, Menzel had to cancel several of her November concert engagements to accommodate her GLEE filming schedule. Menzel was given a 12 episode arc in the upcoming third season of the show and will be filming throughout the fall. It was announced today that The Stratford Shakespeare Festival's hit production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, directed by the Festival's Artistic Director Des McAnuff, will open at the Neil Simon Theatre on Broadway on Thursday, March 22, 2012. Caissie Shira Levy, daughter of Lisa Levy and Dr. Mark Levy of Hamilton, Ontario, will marry David Aaron Reiser, a son of Linda Reiser and Dr. Robert A. Reiser of Tallahassee, Fla. on Sunday evening according to the New York Times. Rabbi Stanley J. Garfein will officiate at the Soho Beach House in Miami Beach, with Daniel H.
