Following multiple sold out engagements, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band returns to the intimate Manhattan venue 54 Below on Saturday August 22nd to continue an official residence for 2015. The 9:30 PM concert, helmed by director Max Friedman, features returning guest vocalists Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening, American Idiot), Hannah Elless (Godspell, Steve Martin & Edie Brickell's Bright Star), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Hedwig and The Angry Inch, American Idiot), Janet Krupin (Bring It On, If/Then), Lauren 'LOLO' Pritchard (DCD2 Recording Artist, Spring Awakening), and Ciara Renee? (Big Fish, Pippin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame), plus the Broadway Big Band debuts of Nicholas Christopher (Motown The Musical, Whorl Inside A Loop) and Ben Platt (Pitch Perfect, The Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen). Friedman and Rosen co-produce the series.
STALKER: THE MUSICAL Set for New York Fringe Festival

Brian Ogilvie (Gigi, Mary Poppins) stars in Stalker: The Musical, a satirical new show, that will run August 14 - 26 as a part of the New York Fringe Festival. The production will be the only Australian entry accepted into the festival, which features over 150 shows. Set in a dystopian world where love has been eradicated and lust is celebrated, Stalker: the Musical is a dark comedy that follows the story of Jay Cloudstreet, who finds himself unusually and illegally drawn to one particular girl.

The 9:30 PM concert, helmed by director Max Friedman, also featurs returning guest vocalists Nick Blaemire (Found, Godspell), Tony Award Nominee Daniel Breaker (Passing Strange, The Book of Mormon), Jason Gotay (Spider Man: Turn Off The Dark, Bring It On), Julia Mattison (Godspell), and more to be announced! McNamara has recently been seen onstage in The Chocolate Show, NEWSical the Musical, Motel Rasdell, and Little Shop of Horrors. She has hosted and performed at theatres all over NYC, including, but not limited to 54 Below, Birdland Jazz, Roseland Ballroom, Joe's Pub, Theatre Row, and The Duplex.

Jake Boyd is set to sing in DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) at 54 BELOW, on May 2nd, at 9:30pm. Conceived and produced by Megan Minutillo (in association with thewriteteachers.com), with musical direction by Jacob Yates, the evening will feature music from across the musical theatre canon, pairing Broadway and Off Broadway performers with Broadway hopefuls.

On April 12th, 2015, Tony Nominee Michael McElroy (Rent, Big River), Broadway's Caissie Levy (Ghost, Les Miserables), Derek Klena (Dogfight, Wicked), and Eden Espinosa (RENT, Wicked) will perform in Raise Your Voice: A Cabaret For A Cure, a benefit concert to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Conceived and directed by Rob Morean, a Sophomore at Tisch School of the Arts in the Department of Drama's New Studio on Broadway, and inspired by his recent battle and win against Hodgkin's Lymphoma, all proceeds from the cabaret will be donated directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
