Based on the true story of Steve Jobs and Apple Computer, The Crazy Ones is a thrilling new original pop-rock musical with music and lyrics by Zack Zadek and book by Alex Pototsky.

In 1982, Steve Jobs was in control. His company, Apple Computer, was on top of the world: his products were changing the work and home life of hundreds of thousands of users every day, and he was exorbitantly, extravagantly rich. But something sinister was brewing underneath the surface - both at Apple, and in Steve's own mind. The Crazy Ones tells the story of the man behind the genius and how he strove to leave behind a legacy, despite some very powerful demons.

The Crazy Ones has previously been developed at NYMF, the Musical Theatre Factory, and the New York Theatre Barn. Zack Zadek is an award-winning composer/lyricist, songwriter, performer, and playwright, named by Playbill as "A Contemporary Musical Theatre Songwriter You Should Know." His other musicals include 6 (NYMF), Deathless, and The Role of a Lifetime (with director Jerry Mitchell). Alex Pototsky is a bookwriter, screenwriter, playwright, and novelist, whose projects include Final Grades (Thunder River Theater Company), Ghosts and other Watercolors, and I Exist. The show will be directed by Hunter Bird, with music supervision by Justin Goldner.

The concert will feature performances by Jordan Barrow (The Tempest), Sarah Cetrulo (The Black Suits, My Fair Lady),Claybourne Elder (Allegro, Bonnie & Clyde, Road Show), Kasie Gasparini (Mamma Mia!), Van Hughes (Spring Awakening, American Idiot, 9 to 5), Jared Loftin (Gigantic). Will Roland (Dear Evan Hansen, The Black Suits), Monet Sabel (Wendy's Shadow), Taylor Trensch (Curious Incident..., Matilda, Bare), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Found, Heathers, Bare), Keith White (A Bronx Tale), Josh Young (Amazing Grace, Jesus Christ Superstar), Noah Zachary (Peter and the Starcatcher, Dear Edwina), and more to be announced.
