Curiouser and Curiouser...Long Island City Artists (licartists.org) in association with Greg Schaffert will present the site-specific musical PAINTED ALICE: The Musical at The Plaxall Gallery in Long Island City (5-25 46th Ave, LIC). PAINTED ALICE will begin performances on October 6.

Painted Alice follows Alice, an artist struggling with painters' block, as she distances herself from her partner and accidentally falls through her canvas into a visual art-inspired wonderland. In this strange world rife with self-indulgent artists, she meets a variety of outrageous characters that challenge her idea of success and help her answer the question, 'does domestic bliss cause artistic death?'

Due to popular demand, YouTube sensation Katie Goodman's Broad Comedywill return to the SoHo Playhouse (sohoplayhouse.com) beginning January 29, 2018. The internationally-touring riotous, ridiculous, and in-your-face all-women troupe, Broad Comedy, stars Danielle Cohn, Molly Kelleher, Tana Sirois, Carlita Victoria and Katie Goodman. Broad Comedy played the SoHo Playhouse last May in a limited three-show run and is being welcomed back for an official Off-Broadway run, playing Mondays at 7:30pm through March 26 at the Soho Playhouse (15 Vandam Street). Rhapsody Collective is proud to present The Illusory Adventures Of A Dreamer as part of the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC. Written by Michael Bradley (The Girls In White at Feinstein's/54) and Directed by Chris Goodrich, The Illusory Adventures Of A Dreamer will be presented on 8/13 at 9:30pm, 8/16 at 5:00pm, 8/22 at 4:45pm, 8/24 at 7:00pm, and 8/27 at 1:30pm at Venue #1: Teatro Sea (107 Suffolk Street).
