PAINTED ALICE, An Immersive Musical Announced At The Plaxall Gallery

Long Island City Artists, Inc. (GARDEN OF DELIGHTS, STUPID F#CKING BIRD) in association Greg Schaffert (Broadway, Tony Award Winning PETER AND THE STARCATCHER), has announced that it will present a production of William Donnelly and Michael Mahler's PAINTED ALICE, a quirky musical adaptation of Alice In Wonderland, with direction by Jenn Rapp (Broadway, THE ILLUSIONISTS), and musical director by Conor Keelan (Broadway, A BRONX TALE). PAINTED ALICE will run April 19th-April 28th on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8pm at The Plaxall Gallery (5-25 46 Avenue, Long Island City). www.licartists.org

LIC-A will present a fine art exhibition DRINK ME, TASTE ME: An Exhibition Of Curious Things, curated by Norma Homberg specifically themed to Painted Alice. This unique artistic experience will couple visual art and live theatre. The exhibition will be on view from April 11t h through May 12t h. Gallery hours: Thursday from 6pm-10pm, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-6pm.

The cast of PAINTED ALICE features Tana Sirois (GARDEN OF DELIGHTS) , Adam McDonald (CAVE CANEM) , Molly Kelleher (BROAD COMEDY), Meghan Ginley (ANGELINA BALLERINA),Neal Davidson (SOMETHING IN THE GAME), Jamie Shapiro (THE UNDERTOW), and Craig Anderson (RESISTIBLE RISE OF JR BRINKLEY) .The design team includes set and costume design by Jessica Thonen, lighting design by Eric Goodman, and stage management by Kristina Voznick.

Performances of PAINTED ALICE are on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8PM, April 19t h-April 28th. Tickets can be purchased online at www.licartists.org.

LIC Artists, Inc. (LIC-A), is a 501(c)3 non-profit arts advocacy organization founded in 1986 by artists in Long Island City. In 2016, Plaxall, Inc. generously donated a waterfront warehouse space to serve as a fine art gallery, performing arts venue, and community center.
