Roundabout Theatre Company is presenting The Refocus Project, a multi-year project to elevate and restore marginalized plays to the American canon. On Friday, April 30 the project will launch with Samm-Art Williams’ 90-minute drama HOME directed by Roundabout’s Senior Resident Director Kenny Leon.

The FSCJ Artist Series has announced the 55TH Anniversary Season for Broadway in Jacksonville filled with award-winning blockbusters and family favorites.

The series stars Manolo Cardona, Carolina Miranda, Ginés García Millán, Claudia Ramírez, Eugenio Siller and Alejandro Nones.

The film was initially meant to be released in theaters on June 4 from Sony Pictures, but will now stream on Netflix at an unspecified future date.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation, the not-for-profit foundation of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, today announced the recipient and six finalists for the inaugural Barbara Whitman Award. Established by theatrical producer Barbara Whitman, the award recognizes a female, trans, or non-binary early-career director who has demonstrated a unique vision in their work with an unrestricted $10,000 cash prize.
