McCallum Theatre Education will present exciting original choreography by choreographers from across the nation and abroad at the annual Palm Desert Choreography Festival. This one of a kind festival, scheduled for Saturday, November 11th at 7pm and Sunday, November 12th at 4pm continues to promote dance as an art form by creating a platform for emerging and established choreographers and developing new dance audiences.

The Plano Symphony Orchestra (PSO) will open their 41st Season, Out of this World, in a fantastic celebration of music and culture with ¡Viva México! Maestro Héctor Guzmán and the PSO will be joined by special guests: vocalists Fela and Dante Alcala, Mariachi Jalisciense de Antonio Jimenez, the Viva Mexico Choir, and members of Ballet Folklórico de México in an evening honoring Mexican Independence Day.

After eight seasons as Producing Artistic Director, The Bridge Initiative's co-founder Brenda Jean Foley is transitioning to Producing Executive Director and the organization has named Elizabeth Brownlee and Amie Bjorklund as Co-Artistic Directors for the theatre company's 2023-24 season. The record crowd who came out to fill the Brunswick Mall and celebrate the final week of the theatre company’s 2023 season were treated to a summer’s evening of joyful song, performed by the stars of SOMETHING ROTTEN! (the current main stage production) and the MSMT Singers. The concert, presented in conjunction with the Brunswick Downtown Association and funded in part by a gift from the Maine Arts Commission, featured sixteen selections from the musical theatre repertoire and was emceed by MSMT Artistic Director Curt Dale Clark with his customary flair.
