Laura Osnes Joins 'Pride and Prejudice' Performance in Rochester

Producers of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, The New Musical announce that Laura Osnes (Grease!, winner of Grease: You're the One that I Want!) will play the role of Elizabeth (Lizzy) Bennet in the Broadway-bound musical's one-night-only performance at Rochester's historic Eastman Theatre on Tuesday, October 21

Working Theater, the New York-based theater company that has been devoted to producing new plays since the company began in 1985, including the popular plays Tabletop (Rob Ackerman), Hold Please (Annie Weisman) and I Am a Man (OyamO) -- presents the Off-Broadway premiere of Our Dad is in Atlantis by Mexican playwright Javier Malpica, with an English translation by Jorge Ignacio Cortiñas (Blind Mouth Singing).

Working Theater, the New York-based theater company that has been devoted to producing new plays since the company began in 1985, including the popular plays Tabletop (Rob Ackerman), Hold Please (Annie Weisman) and I Am a Man (OyamO) -- presents the Off-Broadway premiere of Our Dad is in Atlantis by Mexican playwright Javier Malpica, with an English translation by Jorge Ignacio Cortiñas (Blind Mouth Singing), set to begin previews April 4, prior to its official press opening April 8 at Theatres at 45 Bleecker (45 Bleecker Street) in Manhattan.

NAATCO to Present 'Alba' & Falsettoland with Narayan, Etc.

Federico Garcia Lorca's classic play The House of Bernarda Alba, about a household of women repressed by a domineering mother, and William Finn's modern classic musical Falsettoland, about a gay/straight/divorced/married extended family of New Yorkers preparing for a son's bar mitzvah, will be presented by the Obie Award-winning National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) in June 2007 in NYC.
