As BWW previously reported, a new MAGIC MIKE stage musical is currently in the works from Tom Kitt, Brian Yorkey and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Now, HAMILTON's Jon Rua has posted a photo on Instagram from a recent reading for the show, and it looks like his HAMILTON co-star Chris Jackson was also involved. Play Club is a relatively new initiative in Cape Town, a book club for theatre lovers with the aim of building a sense of community within the local arts scene. With THE AGONY AND ECSTASY OF STEVE JOBS, Play Club is well on the way to achieving their goal.
