New shows on sale at bergenPAC

Drummer Jordan Cannata (Adrenaline Mob, Stereo Satellite), who recently toured with Doro Pesch of Warlock, is currently on a European tour with Dark Sky Choir. Jordan, who is represented by Rock'D Management Group and Grand Slam Productions along with Stereo Satellite, will release their debut album later this year.

SONS OF APOLLO--former Dream Theater members Mike Portnoy and Derek Sherinian, Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal (ex-Guns N' Roses), Billy Sheehan (The Winery Dogs, Mr. Big, David Lee Roth) and Jeff Scott Soto (ex-Journey, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force)—are pleased to announce the release of 'Live With The Plovdiv Psychotic Symphony' on August 30.

Murder In The Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story will premiere next month on Saturday, April 20 at AMC Kabuki 8 in San Francisco, CA at 1pm. Directed by Adam Dubin(Beastie Boys "Fight For Your Right to Party" & 'No Sleep 'til Brooklyn"), the film contains over fifty interviews with various metal stalwarts, (including Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Testament and Death Angel), telling its tall tales through a mix of first-person interviews, animation and narration by comedian Brian Posehn. 

Double Dragon Records is thrilled to announce the upcoming solo debut from Nashville based singer/songwriter/guitarist, Damon Johnson. The self-produced album,  Memoirs of an Uprising, will be available on all digital formats, as well as a limited run of red vinyl, beginning March 8, 2019.  Pressings of the album can still be pre-ordered here.  

Today, Guitar World premieres the debut video from Memoirs of an Uprising, the self-produced new album from singer/songwriter/guitarist,  Damon Johnson. The clip for the single “Shivering Shivering” was directed by Chris Hopkins and shot on location in Nashville. Double Dragon Records will release the full album Memoirs of an Uprising on March 8, 2019. A  limited run of Red Vinyl pressings of the album can be ordered here.  

The premiere of BAND VS BRAND, a feature-length documentary film directed by Bob Nalbandian (Director of the Inside Metal series) will make its screening debut today, January 23, 2019 at the Marriott Delta Garden Grove just prior to the annual The Hall of Heavy Metal History Gala. The documentary focuses on the current state of the music business and on how 'the brand' of a rock group these days has more power than the band members themselves. Tickets for the awards gala are $30 each with the movie premiere open to the general public, free of charge.

On Record Store Day's Black Today, November 24, THE WINERY DOGS--Richie Kotzen (vocals, guitar), Billy Sheehan (bass), Mike Portnoy (drums) will release a limited edition vinyl of their recently released DOG YEARS: LIVE IN SANTIAGO & BEYOND 2013-2016 exclusively to independent record stores. It consists of three red and white marble colored vinyl albums, featuring the live audio from the concert as well as the DOG YEARS EP.
