A new West End theatre launches with a show that is heartwarming but unnecessarily irritating in its structure and style

Staffordshire’s New Vic Theatre have today released rehearsals images for the much-anticipated world stage premiere of Marvellous - the remarkable story of Stoke City FC kit man, clown and all-round hero, Neil ‘Nello’ Baldwin.

Vertical Entertainment has acquired the North American rights for BREAKING FAST, a romantic comedy from first-time writer/director Mike Mosallam which stars Haaz Sleiman (The Visitor), Michael Cassidy (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) and Amin El Gamal (Good Trouble).

Same-sex marriage, blind love, end-of-life decisions, prejudice, and various absurdist inversions of reality all feature in Week Three of 'the biggest little play festival in the world'.

Northern Broadsides are set to start off their 25th anniversary year by joining forces with the award-winning New Vic Theatre, Newcastle-under-Lyme, to stage Cyrano, a new adaptation by award-winning playwright Deborah McAndrew (the UK Theatre Award and Manchester Theatre Awards winning An August Bank Holiday Lark) of Edmond Rostand's classic romantic comedy Cyrano de Bergerac.
