Stable Cable Lab Co. to Present ACCIDENTS WAITING TO HAPPEN, 5/28-6/8

Stable Cable Lab Co. and Vera Khodasevich announce the cast and creative team for the workshop production of Accidents Waiting to Happen, a play by Jonathan Libman, directed by Padraic Lillis. Invited presentations for Accidents Waiting to Happen will begin on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at IRT Theater and are scheduled to run through Sunday, June 8, 2014. The results of the workshop production - including the actors' experience with the work, the aesthetics of the director and designers, and the audience's feedback - will be invaluable to the development of this new play. This project was developed, in part, through Kori Rushton and the IRT 3B Development Series.

Next month TCG Publications will release 100 (Monologues), a collection of all of award-winning writer-actor Eric Bogosian's monologues from the series of acclaimed solo shows he wrote and starred in off-Broadway beginning in the mid '80's. The publication will include monologues by the three-time Obie Award and Drama Desk winner from his solo shows Drinking in America; Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll; Pounding Nails in the Floor with My Forehead, Wake Up and Smell The Coffee, FunHouse and Men Inside, as well as selections from his play Talk Radio

Two years ago, The New Ohio Theatre and IRT Theater (new neighbors in the historic Archive Building on Christopher Street) kicked-off their exciting new developing and presenting initiative: the Archive Residency. The Archive Residency offers select independent theatre companies a two-year commitment of space, artistic support, and institutional continuity for the development and presentation of a new work. Victory Gardens Artistic Director Chay Yew, Managing Director Chis Mannelli and The One-Minute Play Festival Producing Artistic Director Dominic D'Andrea announce the Fourth Annual Chicago One-Minute Play Festival (#1MPF), an evening of one-minute plays by sixty of Chicago's top playwrights, directed by ten Chicago directors. #1MPF will be presented for two performances only, Sunday, May 4 and Monday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park.
