A special theatre event is happening this Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles High School for the Arts (LACHSA) called 'Simply Josefina!' directed by Corky Dominguez. This event will be the inaugural theatrical event presented in the LACHSA's brand new theatre called Caroline's L.O.F.T. The event is honoring playwright Josefina Lopez ('Real Women Have Curves') with LACHSA students performing in presentations of her one-act plays, 'Food For The Dead' and 'Detained in the Desert,' the later of which Lopez just completed as a feature film.

Stages Repertory Theatre is partnering with the Shakespeare Globe Centre of the Southwest to present a free 45-minute performance of ROMEO & JULIET for Houston-area high school campuses and other facilities. Director Rutherford Cravens brings together four students - Christine Arnold, Nicole Gamache, Miguel Garcia, Paige Warton - from the University of Houston School of Theatre and professional actor Eva Laporte for the five-person adaptation.

"My Way: A Tribute to Frank Sinatra" celebrates the pivotal moments of Sinatra's life which would solidify his legendary status.
