Three-time Emmy winning late-night comedian and host of HBO's comedy Hardcore TV joins recording artist Mimi Bessette (Cowgirls, Bonnie & Clyde), Yassmin Alers (Rent, The Capeman) and Marci Reid (Lion Gate's The Cookout) in the new musical comedy Love In The Middle Ages. Rounding out the cast are Michael Givens and David Rappaport.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the full slate of 27 musical productions, a developmental reading series and special events for their seventh annual festival. This year's Festival will begin September 27th and continue through October 17th. A full breakdown of this year's performances follows.

Nick Meo will direct a revival of 'Search and Destroy' by Howard Korder, a portrait of nefarious business practices and moral degradation in the Reagan era. It will be presented by Strudel Productions (www.strudelproductions.com) January 14 to 23, 2010 at the Kraine Theater, 85 E. 4th Street.

Choice Theatricals, in association with T. Schreiber Studio will present an industry reading of Elizabeth S. Davis's new play, Crazy Head Space, directed by Gabriel Barre. Presentations will be on Thursday, August 20th at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and Friday, August 21st at 1:00 PM at The Gloria Maddox Theater (151 W. 26th St., 7th Floor).
