Three-time Emmy winning late-night comedian and host of HBO's comedy Hardcore TV joins recording artist Mimi Bessette (Cowgirls, Bonnie & Clyde), Yassmin Alers (Rent, The Capeman) and Marci Reid (Lion Gate's The Cookout) in the new musical comedy Love In The Middle Ages. Rounding out the cast are Michael Givens and David Rappaport.

Co-written by Eric Kornfeld (head writer for Bette Midler's The Show Must Go On and Kiss My Brass) Love In The Middle Ages celebrates a Manhattan singles mixer for the middle-of-life-journeyer's quest for romance; or at the very least, a night without encountering a walking train wreck. The intimate tuner features a score by composer Michelangelo Sosnowitz who has scored for HBO, VH1, PBS and the feature A Novel Romance featuring Steve Guttenberg. Director and Co-author Jeffrey Jackson (Frankenstein) helms the production produced by ABCD Productions II.

Love In The Middle Ages begins rehearsals in October, and then opens at New York's Stage 72 November 15th running through to November 23rd. Tickets and production information available at www.loveinthemiddleagesthemusical.com.
