GPR Records' first release will be 'Poetic License' featuring 100 poems read by 100 performers of the stage and screen. The CD will be released on April 2nd in celebration of National Poetry Month and will be available on Amazon.com and on itunes. There has never been a spoken word recording that has included so many performers reading such a wide variety of poetry, each selection a personal choice of the performer. GPR Records is presenting this collection in hopes of inspiring audiences with a new appreciation of the spoken word.

'Grey Gardens,' 'Every Little Step' & GLEE Win Satellite Awards

The Golden Satellite Awards ceremony was held December 20 at the Grand Salon of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California. Winners include the HBO film Grey Gardens, and the documentary film 'Every Little Step' which chronicles the 2006 revival of A Chorus Line. Glee took home four awards: Best Comedy or Musical Television Series, Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Television Series (Lea Michele), Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical Television Series (Matthew Morrison), Best Acress in a Supporting Role for Television Series (Jane Lynch) and Best Guest Star (Kristin Chenoweth).
