Signature Theatre has announced casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for Incident at Vichy, written by Arthur Miller and directed by Michael Wilson. Called "one of the most important plays of our time" by The New York Times in its review of the show's original production, Incident at Vichy runs October 27 to December 6, 2015 with a Sunday, November 15 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Audra McDonald has a big year ahead of her! After embarking on a concert tour this fall, the six-time Tony winner, who recenty wrapped filming for Disney's live action Beauty and the Beast, will be back on Broadway, starring alongside Brian Stokes Mitchell, Billy Porter, Joshua Henry and Brandon Victor Dixon in SHUFFLE ALONG.
Before all of that, McDonald will head to Provincetown, MA to take part in the acclaimed Broadway @ Town Hall concert series, hosted by SiriusXM radio star Seth Rudetsky. For one show only on Monday, August 24 (6:30 PM), she will be joined onstage by her husband and fellow Broadway star Will Swenson, with whom she is currently starring in Williamstown Theatre Festival's A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN.

Hero Theatre announced today that the company's 2016/2017 season will commence with Festival Irene: Celebrating the Legacy of Maria Irene Fornes. The festival of plays will be presented as staged readings. It will include some of Fornes' most celebrated works in addition to featuring plays written by some of her students who are amongst some of the most prominent Latina/o writers in America today. Esteemed dramaturg, literary agent and founder of This Distracted Globe Consultancy, Morgan Jenness, will serve as consultant on the project.

Molotov Theatre Group, one of Washington DC's horror- and suspense-based theatre companies, is dubbing its 2015/2016 'The Season of the Storyteller.' The company's three-show season includes 'Lovecraft Nightmare Suite,' 'The Pillowman' and 'Blood, Sweat & Fears: A Grand Guignol Sick Cabaret.' The company's work this season will be featured in an upcoming academic textbook on the Grand Guignol French Theatre of Horror.
