Last night, the 2017-2018 class of Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellows presented excerpts of full length works at Playwrights Horizons at 7:00 PM. This presentation caps off a year spent working under the tutelage of Michael Korie (War Paint), Laurence O'Keefe (Heathers), Diana Son (Stop Kiss), and Sheri Wilner (Kingdom City).

Wheelhouse Theater Company Will Present Return Engagement Of Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s HAPPY BIRTHDAY WANDA JUNE

Wheelhouse Theater Company and its Founding Members Matt Harrington, David Kenner, Michael Schantz, and Jeffrey Wise announced today that due to popular demand, the company will stage a special return engagement of Kurt Vonnegut's rarely produced play HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WANDA JUNE October 18th - November 29th at The Duke on 42nd Street, a NEW 42ND STREET project, 229 West 42nd Street in Manhattan. The New York Times Critics' Pick production, which garnered unanimous rave reviews this past Spring at the Gene Frankel Theatre, offers up dynamic and often hilarious insight into a capitalist society's attempts to make socio-cultural progress in a world polarized by its moral and political outrage…or lack thereof. Jeffrey Wise will direct the production that will run through Thursday, November 29th. The official opening is set for Tuesday, October 23rd. Mint Theater Announces Cast for Benefit Reading of LILIOM

Mint Theater (Jonathan Bank, Producing Artistic Director) today announced the cast for a rare reading of Ferenc Molnar's Liliom which will be presented for one night only, onMonday, June 11 at 7pm at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street).  Liliom was turned into the musical Carousel by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II which is now enjoying a successful revival on Broadway.

Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey to Present CORIOLANUS

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its 54th season with William Shakespeare's intense political drama, Coriolanus. Performances begin July 6 and continue through July 24 at the F.M. Estelle Parsons, Chukwudi Iwuji & More Set for Red Bull Theater's CORIOLANUS Reading

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with Shakespeare's Coriolanus, directed by Michael Sexton, on Monday March 7th at 7:30 PM, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson).  Featured in the cast will be Estelle Parsons (Academy Award winner for Bonnie and Clyde and nominee for Rachel, Rachel, five time Tony Award nominee),  Chukwudi Iwuji (Olivier Award-winning Henry VI Trilogy at the Royal Shakespeare Company, TFANA's Tamburlaine, NYSF's King Lear), Matthew Rauch ('Banshee'), Jay O. TACT/The Actors Company Theatre presents the Off Broadway premiere of HARD LOVE, the searing 2003 play by Israeli playwright Motti Lerner. This first play of the 2015/16 season -- the company's 23rd -- is directed by TACT Artistic & Executive Director Scott Alan Evans, who most recently directed Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang. The show is currently playing at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre. The play celebrated its opening last night, October 11th, and performances continue through October 31, 2015. Mint Theater Extends FASHIONS FOR MEN

Mint Theater today announced that their current acclaimed production of Fashions For Men by Ferenc Molnar featuring Mark Bedard, Joe Delafield, Shawn Fagan, Zachary Fine, Jeremy Lawrence, Rachel Napoleon, Annie Purcell, Kurt Rhoads, Michael Schantz, Maren Searle, John Seidman, Jill Tanner, John Tufts, and Gabra Zackman, would now continue through April 12th at Mint's home (311 West 43rd Street).
