In collaboration with NASA and its amazing sound bank from the universe, the French composer and creator of Excalibur: The Celtic Rock Opera, Alan Simon, now offers an original album of 14 great elegant tracks: “BIG BANG”.

Recently signed to Melodic Revolution Records, keybordist & composer Lisa LaRue is set to release her new album “Origins” in April 2018! A double album celebrating 25 years and 11 release by LaRue, “Origins” features some of the best musicians in the business: John Payne Asia, GPS), Michael Sadler (Saga), Mitch Perry (Talas, Aerosmith), Gilli Smyth (Gong), Don Schiff (Rocket Scientist, Kracked Earth), Federico Fantacone (Orchestre Celesti) John Baker (Forever Twelve, Mars Hollow) as well as Steve Adams, Brenda K, Michael Wheeler, Merrill Hale, Svetlan Raket (Par Lindh Project), John “Yafke” Timothy, Michael Alvarez.

SHOTZ! is a theatrical pressure cooker that every month pairs 6 groups of actors, writers, and directors together to create brand new 10-minute plays and perform them the first Monday of the month at The Kraine Theater, 85 E. 4th St., NY. Unified by three common criteria, each collection of plays captures a variety of perspectives around the month's theme, and is the best, most consistent showcase of up-and-coming talent in NYC theater.

Excalibur IV is the widely anticipated fourth NEW STUDIO ALBUM in the Celtic Rock Opera series, following on from the GOLD and PLATINUM selling original trilogy. EXCALIBUR IV was played live in its entirety to 12 ARENAS in Germany in December 2016 and will be touring again in 2018.

Alan Simon is a French folk-rock musician and composer best known for his rock operas which are performed with collaboration from other noted rock musicians. Simon is associated with Breton Celticism, and his most ambitious works are typically on themes linked to Celtic myth and history. Simon has also branched out into film-making. Alan Simon is the creator of the legendary EXCALIBUR: THE CELTIC ROCK OPERA.

Progressive rock band Mars Hollow has announced that they will be recording a new album after a nearly 5-year hiatus. The announcement was made during a semi-reunion show and subsequent radio interview in June, and came on the heels of a show billed as “John Baker and Steve Mauk Perform the Music of Mars Hollow” in Chicago.

Already extended due to phenomenal public demand, Benighted has now broken the pre-sale ticket records at the Old Red Lion. Originally published as a novel in 1927, Benighted was the first real introduction to the world of a then unknown J.B. Priestley. The world premiere of the stage adaptation of Benighted ties in with the Priestly Renaissance that is sweeping our stages.

After an opening weekend of record breaking ticket sales, Benighted has been extended at the Old Red Lion due to phenomenal public demand - now closing on Saturday 7th January 2017.

First Draughts is a developmental reading series produced by Amios, a theater collective whose mission is to build community through art.
