According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Rooker will join the Fast and Furious franchise for its upcoming ninth film.

Deadline reports that Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2, The Walking Dead, HBO's True Detective Season 3), Charlotte McKinney (Flatliners, Baywatchremake), Parisa Fitz-Henley (Luke Cage, Jessica Jones), and Austin Stowell (Catch 22, Battle of the Sexes) will join Fantasy Island. The  adaptation of the ABC series will begin production in Fiji next week.

Ivan Reitman, who directed and produced some of the most iconic films of the past four decades, including the mega-hits Ghostbusters, Animal House, Stripes, and Dave, will make his first Wizard World appearance in special sessions on Saturday, August 25 at Wizard World Comic Con Chicago at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. Reitman, whose dozens of blockbuster credits also include National Lampoon's Animal House, Stripes, Kindergarten Cop, Space Jam, Heavy Metal, Old School, Road Trip, Disturbia, Up in the Air and many others, will sign free autographs for fans during his Wizard World Comic Con Chicago visit, pose for photo ops and conduct an interactive Q&A with Ghostbusters star Ernie Hudson.

Just three weeks until the inaugural Fandemic Tour, a new touring comic con, will debut at the Sacramento Convention Center June 22-24, 2018. Fandemic Tour is produced by the former CEO of Wizard World, John Macaluso, is now bringing that experience back to Sacramento and a new show in Houston, rescheduled from 2017 due to Hurricane Harvey. Fandemic Tour will stop in Houston Sept. 14-16, 2018. Many of the celebrities and notable artists and authors are featured in interactive programming throughout the weekend. A key feature of any great comic con, programming is where the fans get a chance to really get to know their favorite stars, hear breaking news about their current and future projects, meet like-minded fans of the content and maybe learn something new about pop culture, fandom and how their peers are using their passions to create social change.

Today Marvel Studios kicks off the year-long Marvel Cinematic Universe 10-Year anniversary celebration with an iconic class photo featuring talent and filmmakers from over the last ten years.
