FANDEMIC TOUR Comes to Houston for One Weekend Only

Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are two of the most recognizable names in the entertainment world courtesy of the cultural phenomenon that is The Walking Dead. And from September 15-17 in Houston, TX, the pair will headline the first-ever FANDEMIC TOUR.

FANDEMIC is a brand new experiential convention weekend that will bring together celebrities, well-known and emerging comic artists, cosplayers of all shapes and sizes, and exhibitors with merchandise designed to offer something for every type of pop culture fan.

Reedus and Morgan, gravitas in the entertainment world notwithstanding, represent the tip of the proverbial iceberg when it comes to the talent that will be on display when FANDEMIC TOUR kicks off in September. Additional confirmed attendees include Evil Dead's Bruce Campbell, Sebastian Stan, known primarily for portraying The Winter Soldier in multiple blockbuster Marvel films and also for his role as Carter Baizen on the popular show Gossip Girl, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, Steven Yeun, who also appeared in The Walking Dead, and Sean Patrick Flanery of The Boondock Saints, who will be united with the aforementioned Norman Reedus, who acted alongside Flanery in the 1999 cult hit. Flanery is also well known for his role as Jacob Elway in the Showtime series Dexter.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Buffy the Vampire Slayer talent will be on full display at FANDEMIC TOUR in the form of appearances by cast members James Marsters, Clare Kramer, and Julie Benz. Lois and Clark actor Dean Cain, known to many of a certain generation as Superman, will also be attending FANDEMIC TOUR. In addition to celebrity acting talent, FANDEMIC TOUR will boast a host of exciting guest artists, including Neal Adams (Batman, X-Men), Phil Ortiz, animator from The Simpsons and Muppet Babies, Michael Golden of Marvel and DC Studios fame, Arthur Suydam (Deadpool, The Walking Dead), and Greg Nicotero, a special make-up effects creator from notable projects such as Transformers and The Walking Dead.

FANDEMIC TOUR will offer attendees the opportunity to purchase autographs and photo opportunities with their favorite celebrity talent and artists. Photos come in the form of 8x10" printouts.

During the course of the weekend, FANDEMIC TOUR will put on a Friday night "Drink and Draw", a festival component that will allow fans to mingle, receive drawing instructions from an expert artist, and have an all-around fantastic evening of revelry while imbibing their favorite adult beverage. Saturday night will showcase one of the highlights of the weekend in the form of a Costume Contest, which will begin at 7 PM when the show floor closes. Guest judges will critique the best of the best in the cosplay world. The Costume Contest is open to all who are interested in participating. Additionally, FANDEMIC will host a Saturday night "After-Party" free to VIP pass holders and open to all attendees for a ticket price to be announced at a later date. The After-Party represents an opportunity for fans to interact with one another and celebrate the world of pop culture in all its glory.
