Tickets On Sale Now for THE BROADWAY BEAUTY PAGEANT

It was announced today that tickets for The Broadway Beauty Pageant go on-sale. The seventh annual beauty contest is set for Monday evening, May 20th, 8p.m., at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (60 Washington Square South). The popular event is the annual benefit of New York's Ali Forney Center.

The mirror ball has relocated to the cellar with Michael Musto'S 70s DISCO EXTRAVAGANZA at 54 BELOW. Tonight, February 17, starting at 9:30PM, join downtown legend, disco diva, and Village Voice columnist Michael Musto with his glittery sidekicks Snooky and Tish as he performs live with disco cover band The Elektrik Company. Michael's special guest star for the evening will be Orfeh (Legally Blonde, Saturday Night Fever). We are pushing tables and chairs aside to make way for the dance floor, so grab a cocktail and shake your groove thing into the wee hours as the 54 Below returns to its fabulous roots.

{Your Name Here} A Queer Theater Company is proud to present their second reading of The Click of the Lock, a new play by Justin Sayre (The Meeting*, Night of a Thousand Judys). The evening is co-produced by David Anzuelo and Artistic Director David Macke with special thanks to Labyrinth Theater Company. The cast will feature Brian Barefoot, Joe Beedles, Christian Coulson (Swan!!!, Harry Potter), Sean Dugan ('Smash,' Next Fall), Cole Escola (Logo TV's 'Jeffery & Cole Casserole'), Logan Ford, Randy Harrison (Silence! The Musical, Showtime's 'Queer as Folk'), Rob Maitner (Urinetown, NY Fringe Festival; Bistro Award for Fairy Tales at the WPA Theater), Allen McCullough and Chris Tyler. Mr. Sayre serves as Director. The Human Rights Campaign - the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization - hosted its annual Greater New York Gala dinner on February 2, at the Waldorf Astoria. The evening featured a performance by Billy Porter, star of this spring's highly anticipated new musical Kinky Boots. With a book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper, and direction and choreography by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, Kinky Boots proves that sometimes the best way to fit in, is to stand out.
